Ave Maria Grotto
The Grotto was built by Br. Joseph Zoettl , a monk at St. Bernard Abbey. He created more than 125 miniatures of famous historic places and shrines all set in a beautiful woodland setting.

Burritt On The Mountain
Burritt on the Mountain lies in the heart of Huntsville, Alabama, atop Round Top Mountain. Dr. Henry Burritt left his home and 167 acres to the City of Huntsville and became the first museum in Huntsville. Over 65 years later, Dr. Burritt’s vision has been realized as the park is an important part of Alabama’s History and welcomes thousands of visitors a year. Not only is Burritt on the Mountain one of Huntsville’s staple tourist attractions, it also is a vibrant center for historical, cultural, educational, and entertainment activities for visitors of all ages.

Huntsville Botanical Garden
The 118-acre Huntsville Botanical Garden is open year-round and contains a diverse ecosystem of meadows, upland and bottomland forest, and wetlands, as well as a variety of specialty gardens and native plant collections. The Mathews Nature Trail contains the largest accredited trillium collection in the U.S. and the Anderson Education Center is home to the nation's largest open-air butterfly house. The Native Plants Teaching Garden is a public space that highlights the way local plants, soil, pollinators, and birds create distinct communities and how they interact to form a diverse, sustainable, and attractive landscape. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Garden is a member of the American Public Gardens Association, the North American Plant Collections Consortium, and the American Horticultural Society, as well as an ArbNet-accredited arboretum.

Jesse Owens Museum
Dedicated June, 1996 with the arrival of the Olympic Torch enroute to the Atlanta Games, The Jesse Owens Museum & Park is a tribute to the life and legacy of Jesse Owens, track and field great, who captured four Gold Medals in 1936 Berlin Olympics shattering Hitler’s Aryan supremacy theory. Jesse’s athletic and humanitarian achievements are depicted through interactive kiosks, displays, a rare documentary narrated by Owens, memorabilia and a museum store. Tigers For Tomorrow Exotic Animal Preserve, Inc.
Tigers For Tomorrow Wild Animal Preserve is located in Northeastern Alabama on a foot hill of the Appalachian mountains called Untamed Mountain. The preserve is a last stop home to over 160 animals and specializes mainly in predators, big cats, bears and wolves. As a community environmental education center visitors will get up close experience while learning about the behaviors and instincts of the animals that call the preserve home.
